  • Responsible for the purchase of diluent, the sale of oil (Access Western Blend), and the logistics required to receive and deliver both products.
  • The MEG Finance team provides treasury, corporate tax, financial reporting, production accounting, marketing accounting, accounts payable, and financial support to MEG!
  • Deliver health and safety resources; provide support and guidance related to the environment, regulatory compliance and approvals; acquiring land for new and existing projects; and consultation with neighbouring communities.
  • MEG’s Supply Chain Department provides focused end-to-end sourcing, procurement (goods & services) and materials management solutions.
  • Responsible for technical oversight of assigned projects – helping to ensure facilities are designed to be safe, operable, and meet MEG’s business objectives.
  • Focus on making MEG the most consistently profitable SAGD producer on a dollar per barrel basis without compromising safety or environmental values.
  • MEG’s geology, geophysics, reservoir and production engineering groups work closely together as a team to explore for, delineate, evaluate and develop our reservoir.
  • Work with the people who help MEG’s people! Work in numerous business areas, such as compensation, payroll, employee relations, training and recruiting. At MEG, we know that our employees are our strongest investment and we’re always on the lookout for fresh talent and rising stars.

How to join the MEG team: 

If you are interested in joining our team, please submit an online application.
Here’s how:

  1. Click “Apply Now” below to be redirected to MEG’s online career application page.
  2. If this is your first time applying with MEG, click “Create Account”. If you have previously created an account, please enter your username and password then click “Log In”.
  3. Once logged into the portal you can:
    • Search for career opportunities by selecting a preferred location, category, job type, or by using key words
    • View and manage previous applications
    • View the recruitment status of your applications
    • Update your account information
    • Successful applicants will be able to complete onboarding paperwork and communicate with recruiters through their portal.
  4. If the search results display a career that interests you, click on the position title to review the responsibilities and requirements of the role.
